We worked hard today!
Kitchen- Scott's mom visited again today and with Steven's help, she unpacked about half a dozen boxes and ran lots of dishes and such through the dishwasher and then organized the cabinets the best she could. How exciting!
Upstairs bathroom- We assembled & installed the shower doors, installed the showerhead and faucet, installed the toilet, installed the sink, faucet and vanity (which was a bit of a chore, we met lots of small resistances, we still need to get one more part), installed the toilet paper holder, towel ring and mirror. It looks like a bathroom!
Downstairs bathroom- I applied and sanded the last two coats of mud, primed and painted the sheetrock that Scott hung, we installed the shower panels, Scott installed the showerhead and faucet. :)
We're moving right along!! :) Praise God, we thank Him and give Him all the glory!!!

God placed that conference in our path to give us the tools to tear down the walls of isolation we'd unknowingly built in our marriage. After we attended the conference last fall, God pressed on our hearts to volunteer for FamilyLife, so we are working at the Raleigh weekend this year. Scott is a group coach and I'm on the prayer team. We'll be there at the conference, serving in whatever way God needs us to serve.
